This essay proposes a methodology developed from the theoretical and philosophical postulates raised by various researchers from the world of art and in general culture; its main objective is to define a classification based on certain categories and modalities applicable in the analysis of heritage built and considering certain characteristics that, according to Zygmunt Bauman and Gilles Lipovetsky, are present in every architectural work. To carry out this, the Álvaro Obregón square located in Culiacán, Sinaloa, as well as what was built on the lot located on the south-west side of it at each historical moment considered (the Orrantia House in 1944 and the EchavarríaBuilding in 1945) are taken as a case study, as well as the experience acquired in a research project that involves the development of virtual models generated in 3D, which aims to make a virtual historical reconstruction of the existing buildings around the space of the same public square.
