THE PROCESSES OF PATRIMONIALISATION IN THE PRODUCTION OF UNEVEN LANDSCAPES IN THE HISTORIC CENTER OF PUEBLA

Abstract

The logic of capitalist development generates socio-territorial inequalities that are expressed in the territory, promoting the creation of uneven landscapes, which are embodied into socio-territorial exclusion and injustices. In this work, it is shown how the landscape processes select and prioritize the space in the search to generate profits. In this sense, it is important to highlight the designation and value of historic centres from these processes. For this, it is proposed to make an itinerary of Calle 5 de Mayo in the city of Puebla, in order to make visible the difference that exists on the landscape in spite of being part of the complex labeled as a Historic Centre.
