Abstract

This paper focuses on making visible the spatial poly-experience that occurs in built
environments. Hence, concepts such as social space, spatial using, and territorialization are
analyzed, this theoretical assembly will allow a better understanding of contemporary urban
space. The concept of spatializing-space is proposed as a tool for the identification of spatial
reappropriation processes; thus, using the “other '' spatial dimensions (Maldonado, 2020a) we
aim to reterritorialize spatial experiences. As a research method we used critical theory and
ethnography; hence, hyper-stories (research tools) folding the generic territory of places;
likewise, collage-maps are constructed to schematize spatial experience. From the
spatializing-space it will be possible to face the challenges derived from the current urban
crisis.
