The leisure of youths as an object of study is relevant amid the changing dynamics of life that was altered from the pandemic caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19), with implications in the realm of social, political, and economic. Given this context, we address the analysis of the leisure of youths from 18 to 29 years of age in Ciudad Juárez, the northern border of Mexico, as a group that is going through various conditions in the face of the pandemic. Based upon a quantitative approach and a survey design with a non- experimental descriptive study, we got a sample of n = 200 participants, analyzing variables that contribute to the study of two comparative moments: before and throughout the transition of the pandemic, a gradual stage of reactivation. It stands out as a strategy of triangulation of analysis, the use of computer programs, Tableau 25 and statistics for Social Sciences, SPSS. The results reveal a latent modification of leisure thru opposite perspectives before and all through the transition of pandemic, that provides an account of youths related to the new social reality, reconsidering traditional recreation with family, and expectant to what could approach the social life they knew before the pandemic.
