Abstract

A reflection on housing from the uncertainty of the present that seeks to learn from our
common past. Solutions to the requirements of daily life that have preceded us and allow us
to propose two essential recommendations for post-covid housing. From the 19th century we
took lessons on how to remake cities, and the importance of collaboration and mutual help,
and from the 20th century, from modern architecture, the importance of transparency for
hygienic and healthy homes. Highlighting in both centuries the lessons contributed by
professional and organized women.
