Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze some of the representations of violence during public transportation in the city as a result of urban dynamics and within the context of the everyday experiences of some women and the scenarios that cause violence. This is in order to establish some elements that allow for an approach to the problem from the perspective of women, specifically the way they feel, symbolize, perceive, or experience this violence. The results of this research presented here are part of a broader analysis of violence against women in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
