SOCIO-SPATIAL MORPHOLOGY IN THE PERURBAN CONTEXT OF THE METROPOLITAN AREA OF GUADALAJARA

In order to achieve an approach to understanding the pattern of growth and urban restructuring in the peri-urban territory, this article analyzes the model of real estate growth through some processes of socio-spatial differentiation and its urban morphology in the southern peri-urban corridor of the Area. Metropolitan of Guadalajara. Through spatial, methodological and conceptual analysis, socio-spatial variables are used, the results show that morphological units such as residential and commercial complexes behave as articulating elements in socio-spatial restructuring. This formal distinction opens the possibility of understanding, through cartographic resources, social interaction in the territory.
