Methodology for the urban evaluation of daily life at neighborhood scale in mexican cities

The purpose of this article is to show a methodology for the urban evaluation of the daily dimension in one or several areas of study at a neighborhood scale, with the aim of presenting a system that allows assessing the perception of the inhabitants in different colonies, adapting it to any city of the country, empowering it to analyze it by means of urban indicators applied to daily life, for later, to be visualized in maps made through a Geographical Information System. The study intends that the method estimate the fulfillment of the urban spaces of the researched sectors to detect their weaknesses and strengths, thus enabling, proposing viable recommendations for improvements and implementation in urban intervention plans, such as, densification, mixed land use, green areas, maintenance, pedestrian zones, cycle routes, recreational spaces, bus stops, among others.
