Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing new tourism trends associated with using natural and cultural landscapes, such as mountainous terrain, rivers and their banks, or scenic coastal ports linked to the urban development of cities, it also examines changes in land use in significant historical centers, the significance of sacred archaeological sites, and protected jungles. Additionally, it is essential to consider that one of the critical factors in this phenomenon of leisure time in the postmodern era is tourist globalization, facilitated by travel agency brochures and internet images on social media platforms. Postmodern society
and its ongoing evolution regarding leisure time and recreation consume places and spaces unrestrainedly. Social media provides access to an endless array of images, promoting the desired to visit tourist settings that may differ from authentic experiences. This article aims to describe the various tourist settings in the state of Sinaloa through a netnographic study.
