Abstract

The article concerns the new form of occupation of the urban space, product of immobiliary interest emerging in the neoliberal city. It will present that in recent years, the process of gentrification is happening in traditional neighborhoods of Mexico City. On this basis, we will exemplify how the morphology of San Lucas Neighborhood in Coyoacán is changing through the displacement of residents of many years, and now has different land uses to those traditionally available.
