Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the transformations of urban imaginaries from the introduction of digital technologies to everyday life and the opening of a virtual reality accessible to the current urban inhabitants. It explores the origins and development of the information  society and the new forms of social exchange that emerge from it, analyzing the ways of penetration of technological resources that make possible the information society in our contemporary societies and on how this has affected daily life, finally reflects on the transformations of urban imaginaries that emerge from a complexification of contemporary urban life that is driven in part by the phenomenon of the visualization of large areas of our life.
